Arab Ambience: Are the Gaza videos real?
A channel called "Arab Ambience" allegedly shares current videos from Gaza on YouTube, supposedly showing everyday life. For this article, the videos were closely analyzed for evidence that could confirm the channel’s claims.
The investigation focused on items like mobile phones, wristwatches, newspapers, and expiration dates that could indicate when the footage was recorded. So far, only one such indicator has been found, and it contradicts the date claimed by the channel.
The video is presented as recent, supposedly filmed on November 14, 2024, “during the war.” However, at minute 20:54 of the video (last checked on December 6, 2024), a wristwatch shows the date January 24. Screenshots from the video: [Source to the video]
The wristwatch is a Casio AE-1000-WD-1AV, which was verified to confirm that the bottom-right field indeed displays the date.

Conclusion
If the watch’s date is correct—which is reasonable to assume, as wearing a mis-set watch makes little sense—the video was recorded at least 10 months before the stated date, meaning the title is misleading.
For this reason, a request has been sent to the channel owner asking for counter-evidence and a statement.
Status of Request
The request was made on 6. December 2024 at 12:58 (MEST) in English and Arabic. There was no response for more than six months. After the videos are still available under the same title, a new request was sent on September 2025 at 10:36 p.m. (MEST) A reply is pending (as of 14. September 2025).
We encourage using the form below to submit further evidence if additional time or location indicators are found in the channel’s content.
